Article KB-00281 - Re-creating e-mail accounts with mixed-case usernames

This only applies to users with ChivaNet account IDs containing upper-case (capital) letters, who created an e-mail account before 13 February 2025.

If your account contains upper-case (capital) letters:, you will need to follow this procedure:

  1. Log out of https://chivanet.org
  2. Log back into https://chivanet.org
  3. Click the Request E-Mail Account link on the left side of the page
  4. Select a password and submit the form

You should now be able to access and use ChivaNet e-mail services.
