How do I get an account?

Note that ChivaNet accounts are only available to those 18 years of age or older.

ChivaNet staff has no access to a Windows 11 computer. You may try various official clients, but on Windows 11, we recommend you set up a virtual machine running something older, or use Pidgin.

Mobile Clients (iOS, Android)
The mobile clients for AIM use a protocol that Retro AIM Server does not yet support. Thus, unfortunately, our AIM server cannot currently be used on these devices.
